The beaches of Santa Cruz and Torres Vedras

Torres Vedras has a variety of excellent beaches with the Blue Flag and Gold Quality award, a classification given by Quercus to beaches that have received a good or excellent water-quality rating over five consecutive bathing seasons. The Torres Vedras coastline has 24 ocean beaches: 15 lifeguarded beaches and 9 wild beaches. Naturism is common at Conchas beach.
